Alzheimer's Raises $25,185
March 6-7, 2010
St. Romain Oil Company
raised $25,185 during its 4th annual fundraiser for the Louisiana
Alzheimer’s Association. The “Y Not Eat to Beat Alzheimer’s” campaign
began in February with a month-long customer donation drive. Customers
contributed over $4800 through Forget-Me-Not purchases at St. Romain
Oil’s nine Shell stations in Avoyelles, Evangeline, Rapides & Catahoula
parishes. The campaign culminated March 6-7 when the company dedicated
its café and coffee sales revenues to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Staff from Louisiana Health Care were on-site providing customers with
information about Alzheimer’s disease.
St. Romain Oil would like to thank the
sponsors, customers, and employees who made the event a success. Gold
sponsors, who donated at least $500, include Louisiana Health Care;
